Privacy Policy

Photos, videos, contacts, and calendar events are processed on your iPhone. We do not upload that content to our servers.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how AI SwiftClean (“we,” “our,” or “the App”) accesses and uses information when you use our iOS application.

AI SwiftClean helps you free space and tidy your device. You can scan and clean your photo and video library, review items by swiping, compress videos, convert Live Photos to still photos, clean contacts, clean calendar events, and play a short speaker tone. Optional local notifications can remind you to review estimated clutter.

The current version of the App does not create a user account, does not offer in-app purchases or subscriptions, does not show third-party ads, and does not include analytics or attribution software that sends events off your device. Please read this policy with our Terms of Use.

2. Information the App accesses

Photo Library

• With your permission, the App reads your Photo Library, including full access or the limited selection you choose in iOS, so it can find duplicates, similar photos, blurry photos, screenshots, similar videos, Live Photos, and other videos.
• Clean and Swipe delete only items you select and confirm. Those items move to Recently Deleted in Photos. Apple typically keeps them there for about 30 days. The App does not restore them for you.
• Video compression runs on your device. When you choose to save, the App writes a new, smaller video into your library. The original video stays unless you delete it yourself.
• Live to Still runs on your device. The App saves still photos to your library, then deletes the original Live Photos only if you confirm that separate step.
• We do not upload your photos or videos to our servers for storage, analysis, or advertising.

Contacts

• With your permission, the App reads Contacts on your device to find duplicate or incomplete entries and to merge or delete contacts you approve.
• Contact backups are vCard files stored in the App on your device. They are not uploaded to us. Deleting the App removes those backups.
• If your contacts sync through iCloud or another account you configured, a change you confirm in the App is written to that system contact store and may sync to your other devices. We do not operate that sync, and we do not receive a copy of your contacts.
• Contact data is not sold and is not used for advertising.

Calendar

• With your permission, the App reads Calendar events on your device so you can review them and delete events you explicitly confirm.
• Events you confirm for deletion are permanently removed from Calendar. The App cannot restore them.
• If your calendars sync through iCloud or another account you configured, a deletion you confirm may sync to your other devices. We do not operate that sync, and we do not receive a copy of your events.
• Calendar data is not sold and is not used for advertising.

Local notifications

• With your permission, the App may schedule local notifications on your device: a weekly reminder, and a notice after a photo-library scan when the on-device estimate of clutter is large enough.
• Notification text may include an approximate reclaimable-storage figure from that on-device scan. It does not include your photos, contacts, or calendar contents. The figure is not sent to our servers.
• We do not use a remote push service for this feature. iOS notification permission is what decides whether reminders can be delivered. To turn them off, use iOS Settings → AI SwiftClean → Notifications, or Settings → Notifications.

On-device preferences

• The App stores settings on your device, such as onboarding progress, detection preferences, cleanup statistics, and notification state. This stays in local storage on the device.
• Clear Wave plays audio through your speaker. It does not read your photo library, contacts, or calendar.

What the current version does not collect

• We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or phone number inside the App. If you email us, we receive whatever you choose to send.
• We do not receive or store payment card details. The current version does not sell subscriptions or other in-app purchases.
• We do not access the advertising identifier (IDFA), and the current version does not present Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt.
• We do not send product analytics, diagnostics, or your library contents to our servers or to a third-party analytics service.

3. How we use information

The App uses the information above only to provide the features you open and the actions you confirm: scanning and reviewing media, compressing videos, converting Live Photos, cleaning contacts and calendar events, storing on-device contact backups, remembering on-device settings, and showing optional local reminders.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your photo library, contacts, or calendar for third-party advertising.

4. Data storage and security

• Photo, video, contact, and calendar content used by the App remains on your device, except where iCloud or another account you already use syncs a change you confirmed in Photos, Contacts, or Calendar.
• Contact backups and App preferences live in the App’s local storage. Removing the App deletes that local App data. Deletions you already confirmed in Photos, Contacts, or Calendar stay in those system stores.
• Because the App does not upload this content to us, we do not keep a server copy you can ask us to erase. You control the copies on your device.

5. Your choices

• Turn Photo Library, Contacts, or Calendar access off in iOS Settings → AI SwiftClean.
• Turn notifications off in iOS Settings → AI SwiftClean → Notifications, or Settings → Notifications.
• Recover recently deleted photos and videos in the Photos app while Apple still keeps them in Recently Deleted.
• Restore a contact backup from inside the App while that backup is still stored on the device.
• Delete the App to remove its on-device preferences and contact backups.

6. Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
